The Cannes Film Festival is just around the corner and the hype is already starting for Quentin Tarantino’s Inglorious Basterds, starring Brad Pitt. But the real hoopla is guaranteed to be surrounding Terry Gilliam’s (Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas) The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus because it features Heath Ledger’s final performance. A trailer hasn’t been posted yet, but we’ll keep checking back.

Luxury luggage gets a much-needed refresh in kaleidoscopic colors this spring. Prada’s updated travel line, fabricated in their trademark saffiano material, fuses high quality with high fashion. Ditch the dreary black canvas case that you and every other tourista hunts for at baggage claim, and trip the light fantastic this season in shades of indigo, papaya, berry or ochre.

We’ve all heard the classic Med secret of using olive oil to attain glossy Riviera-style locks, however it seems the beauty secrets of the ancient fruit don’t end there. Provence-native L’Occitane has developed a certified organic range of skincare formulated with natural oil and water extracts from the exotic olive tree, which is known for surviving the most arid conditions. Olive water extract is rich in antioxidants and potassium, which help to boost the skin’s radiance and protect against daily damage, while olive oil works to leave your skin soft and delectably supple.
