The Toronto International Film Festival is still over one week away, but the madness has already started. Pre-screenings of TIFF flicks began last week. So far I’ve seen Dorian Gray with super hottie Ben Barnes (The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian), Rebecca Hall (Vicky Cristina Barcelona) and Colin Firth (Love Actually) and Agora with the lovely Rachel Weisz. TIFF is always great for spotting new talent, and this year I’ve come across a star-on-the-rise before the festival has even started. His name? Max Minghella, he’s the son of the late Oscar-winning director Anthony Minghella (The English Patient) and he’s definitely one-to-watch.—Alexandra Breen
